Control hoof

Custom pedal for sending on/off messages over USB. Built for use with my homemade looping software.

The control hoof is pretty much just a butchered USB keypad. I tore it apart, sanded down the trace contacts on the pcb and soldered 2 sets of them up to some push to make momentary switch's. My looper software accepts some key commands to start and stop recording, so all i did was change these to the numbers i managed to get the mangled pcb to output.

In June this year (2011) I was chosen to represent the UK at Parks In Progress 4 in Paris. As part of my submission I proposed to extend a previous project named Cascade, creating a visual element to the work.
